Separating fact from fiction seems to be an everyday challenge as I take in all the digital noise around me. Just this week, while much of the Midwest was suffering through record cold temperatures, our President, Mr Trump, tweeted “What the hell is going on with global warming? Please come back, we need you.” According to the Huffington Post, this was one of many instances where Trump has mocked the existence of global warming. Fortunately, according to that same article, The National Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine want to challenge this kind of misinformation by “highly influential individuals. These groups are considering a “quick-response capability”, to respond within 48 hours, and aimed at mischaracterizations of climate science. YES! This is absolutely something that we need! Let’s Do This!
